Podfeed is a web application that converts various types of content, such as files, web pages, YouTube videos, and plain text, into podcast-style audio using AI script generation and text-to-speech technology.

Podfeed supports PDF documents, video files, audio files, website URLs, YouTube video URLs, Apple and Spotify podcast URLs, and raw text input. You can also specify a topic and let Podfeed autonomously research the web and generate an audio podcast on that topic. If you want to bring your own script and let Podfeed just generate the audio, you can do that too.

Podfeed offers a wide range of voice options from providers including ElevenLabs, Google, OpenAI, and more. You can choose between single speaker (monologue) or two speakers (dialogue), select voices for each speaker, and some voices support custom instructions.

We offer three subscription plans: Basic allows up to 128k tokens of input content and approximately 1-3 hours of audio generation per month (depending on your choices of voice), while Pro offers up to 512k input tokens and approximately 3-10 hours of audio generation with enhanced support and exclusive premium features. Finally, the Ultra plan allows up to 1M input tokens and approximately 9-30 hours of audio generation with all Pro features plus some additional exclusive features, like bulk audio generation.

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again.

NotebookLM Audio Overviews is a tool that allows you to generate audio overviews of your notebooks, and is an add-on feature of the NotebookLM platform. Podfeed is a web application where the entire experience centers around AI-powered audio generation, with greater customization controls, language support, and voice options. In addition, Podfeed offers exclusive features such as a private RSS feed, autonomous topic research, edit-and-regenerate audio, and bring-your-own-script generation.

Yes, we take your privacy seriously. We do not store your original input content on our servers. Generated audio files are kept private and accessible only to you through your personal account. We do not share your content with third parties.

The length of the generated audio is non-deterministic but Podfeed offers length control in the form of short, medium, and long audio options. 'Short' is typically 2-6 minutes, 'Medium' is typically 5-12 minutes, and 'Long' is typically 15-25 minutes. These are just typical values and the actual length could differ slightly. If you bring your own script, you can generate audio of up to 60 minutes

As a very small, self-funded team, we're only able to offer a limited free trial with 10 credits, allowing you to generate 1-3 audios (depending on the settings). We also have samples available on our homepage so you can see what generated audios for various contents and generation settings sound like.

You can listen to generated audio directly in the Podfeed app. In addition, you can generate one or more RSS feeds that you can add to Podcast players that support private RSS feeds (e.g. Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, etc.). You can treat different feeds as playlists, divided for example by theme or topic of interest.

The RSS feeds you create in the app are not published in any public catalog and are accessible only to you through your personal podcast app. You're free to share any of your feeds' URL with others so they can also add it to their podcast players and listen to your generated content. Please note that Spotify is an exception to this, as they don't currently support private RRS feeds.

You can, through the 'Spotify for Creators' platform. However, keep in mind that Spotify does not support private RRS feeds at this time, which means that if you add an RSS feed to Spotify it will become a Podcast visible to the public and searchable by anyone.
